Montezuma is magic. There are no other words to describe it. There are 3 different cascades of waterfalls at Montezuma's Falls and even just spending time at the first one is enough to feel the power and energy of Costa Rica's natural waters. The beaches look like they are taken from a postcard and don't have the crowds like the other popular beaches in the country. The village is small, with artist's booths, quiet souvenir shops, restaurants all against the backdrop of the jungle.
Try a yoga class surrounded by the lush jungle with the sounds of the howlers echoing throughout. Meditate under the shade of the palms and walk along the gorgeous beaches of Montezuma. Head out of the main perimeters of town towards Cabuya and you will find yourself plenty of privacy, peace, and natural pools. Montezuma is everything you would imagine Costa Rica to be of spiritual wellness, monkeys, jungles, and vitamin sea.
