Vinicunca from Cusco

Very early in the morning we will begin our journey along the Southern Valley heading to Phulawasipata, the starting point of our adventure to the Cerro Colorado or Rainbow Mountain, located about 100 km southeast of the city of Cusco. After enjoying our breakfast, we will start our hike until we reach the access control point to this mystical place. Continuing the hike, we will observe how the colors around us will change due to the weather, reaching an approximate height of 5000 meters above sea level, the summit of the mysterious mountain. Its geological formations will reveal all their splendor in contrast to the blue sky, forming a formidable barrier between the coastal desert and the Amazon jungle dominated by the beautiful snow-capped Ausangate. We will enjoy our lunch at a countryside restaurant and then return to Cusco.
