Tour 7 Days - Superior - Chepe Express Tourist Class Train (Wednesday and Friday) Chihuahua - Creel - El Fuerte - Copper Canyon - Creel - Chihuahua
Have a delicious meal before going on an adventure and enjoy your morning with this continental breakfast.
During the journey, we will enjoy a unique cultural experience by visiting a Mennonite museum. There, you will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about their customs, lifestyle, and history—discovering one of the most fascinating and reserved communities in the country.
Note:
On Sundays and public holidays, due to the religious traditions and customs of the Mennonite community, places such as the Mennonite Museum and other sites are usually closed. For this reason, on those days we offer an alternative tour that includes a panoramic visit to the region's apple orchards and a culinary experience at an authentic Mennonite artisanal pizzeria. It’s a wonderful way to continue enjoying the cultural and culinary richness of the area.
Notice regarding space for children:
We understand how important it is to travel comfortably. If you are traveling with children taller than one meter, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance. This will allow us to allocate the appropriate space on the transportation unit. Otherwise, we may need to make last-minute adjustments and charge an additional fee for the extra seat required, to ensure everyone's comfort during the trip.
Creel is a charming "Pueblo Mágico" nestled high in the Sierra Madre Occidental, and one of the most iconic destinations along the Chepe train route through the Copper Canyon. Founded in 1907 on what was once a Tarahumara ranch known as Nariachi, this picturesque town offers stunning natural surroundings and a deep connection to the Rarámuri culture.
During your free day, you can walk from your hotel to the town center to explore local handicraft shops, traditional restaurants, and experience the everyday life of this mountain community. If time allows, you may also want to visit nearby attractions such as Cusárare Waterfall, Lake Arareko, or the majestic Basaseachi Waterfall.
Creel is ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, biking, or ATV tours. If you’d like to enrich your day with an optional activity, we recommend speaking with your travel agent to learn about the available experiences.
Hotel Quinta Mision has the biggest and most comfortable rooms in Creel. It is a modern hotel that seeks the use of clean energy to provide quality and environmentally friendly services to guests. But at the same time it is sober and welcoming. It has wifi, boardroom, convention center, sports massage services, outdoor barbecue area and a lobby with table games.
Among the hotel's amenities is a gym that will open in 2024.
Two segments of the Chepe Train in this beautiful destination. You will have three nights in the wonderful Magical Town of Creel, where you can eat delicious things, stroll around, and visit the Cusarare Waterfall.
At Copper Canyon A unique view of the best sights from your room!
Barrancas del Cobre is made up of a series of canyons located between the states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua in Mexico. They are crossed by the route of the famous Chepe train, the only passenger train in Mexico (tickets in tourist category, can be upgraded).
This is one of the most beautiful trips in Mexico for several reasons: the route offers stunning views of the canyons as it passes over bridges, rivers, and tunnels; the hotels of Barrancas del Cobre along the route are charming, for example, the Hotel Mirador has been awarded for having one of the most beautiful terrace views in the world; the Adventure Park has the third-longest cable car in the world and the longest zipline in the world at 2.5 kilometers long; finally, Barrancas del Cobre is home to the Tarahumara culture, one of the most fascinating on the planet.
Your accommodation will be in the best hotels at each station, the most renowned and emblematic nationally in Barrancas del Cobre. The rooms have two double beds and do not have extra bed services. It is important not to forget to bring your printed train tickets, which will be sent to you by email after making your payment.
